Did these sofas already exist at their time? Never saw them in any picture.

Hmmm...I don't know. Although, I don't see why sofas like that wouldn't have been around during the 60s. I don't know if they decorated the studio with a decade in mind or what looked aesthetically pleasing to the eye in this present day picture.

I recall that they had more tatty looking furniture strewn about later on. And rugs and shit.

That's my only objection (because I'm a history fanatic)... I liked the plain, disheveled look of the original studio. But musicians these days don't go for that, lol.
