Yes, the warmth and admiration for George was lovely. (Especially since there was no particular occasion like an anniversary to single George out, so he must have said simply because that's what he feels.) It's altogether a nice interview. Also, Beatles fans at 6am in the morning? Yikes!
It was a surprising and wonderful tidbit tucked away in that interview. I can only imagine that fans showed up at all hours and the day and night, whenever they felt like it.
This is a nice, low-key interview. I wonder if James putting "wings" in the title of his first song was deliberate. Probably not, but either way is a bit ironic.
