I love that movie Mr Holland's opus, and it's incredible George did a commercial for it. I do think music and art are important and need to be retained in schools, but George didn't quite get his exposure to music in school, he came by it all himself. Still, nice of him to do a public message though. They cut the commercial just as he was starting to play the guitar though, have they no respect!!!!!

Ringo's daughter Lee is just adorable. I think she's very pretty.

I only recently caught the discussion where you and Selena mentioned Carol Bedford's book. I'm mentioning it here in case you don't see it on the older discussion, but I have that book, I could quote a few parts for you if you want. Just tell me what you most want to know, or I'll end up quoting the whole book! I can put it on my journal if you and Selena would like to follow, I've been dying to have someone with whom to discuss the book.

regarding carol bedford i'd like to know how 'serious' her relationship with george became. how long they kept in touch. if you do post something to your journal about the books i'd like the link to check it out. i'm very curious to know how she perceived him. even though i know there is controversy around her book.
