You can see how the Beatles were tighter and closer to one another than the average band, and bands in general tend to form those bonds. But Ringo has never mentioned feeling like Rory and the Hurricanes were brothers to a lonely only child, he only says this about John Paul and George.

i think that perhaps being in rory storm and the hurricanes came down to just being in a band with some mates, but being in the beatles meant far more because they went through so much together. even before worldwide fame i think he considered, john, paul, and george to be brothers to him.
