Bands and that.

It really bugs me when bands 1. announce a tour and release tickets within 2 seconds of the announcement, meaning that we can't save up any money to buy one and 2. charge nearly £70. You're great, Muse, but you're not that great. I know nearer the time I'll be annoyed that I don't have a ticket, but right now I'm not arsed. I feel like I'm over ( Read more... )

The whole system takes the piss - you provide your card details for a lottery for tickets, and THEN there's a presale, and THEN there's a general sale? Whut? And the disparity in ticket prices (Madrid is £25 cheaper than London, for example). Ridic, the lot of it.

Haha, I always joked that ticket sales were more like a lottery these days. Never thought they'd actually do it! Argh what balls.

I'm over it too. I HAD to buy tickets for radiohead though, having never seen them. Scored 3 GA tickets and they're worth $700 on ebay each. So I wish I didn't care about them, i'd sell for $$$$

It's a fucking joke. Muse are playing the MEN in Manchester. For the Absolution tour it was £17 at the MEN and now it's almost £70. It's the same bloody venue.
All bands and their ticket prices are taking the piss now.

I won't pay those kind of prices for any band. I'll pay that for German festivals, where you get a couple of dozen top bands, clean, quality facilities, and a nice trip to Europe thrown in, but 70 or 80 quid for a band is ridiculous. I'd like to see Rammstein live, I'm told they are an awesome experience, but I have better things to do with the 80 quid it would cost.
