Health and that.

I'm so sick of spending my hard-earned cash on my fail-train of a body. I spent around £250 (luckily NHS this time, the same treatment would've been triple that had I stayed with my old dentist in Hythe) on stupid teeth this year. I've just spent £116 on my stupid eye (glasses) and it was all WRONG ( Read more... )

fml, glasses, eyes, teeth, failtrain - all aboard, fail

Fuck, that sucks. I sympathise with you! Somehow these things always come in clusters. Crossing my fingers that you'll have no more troubles.

If it's any comfort, my dentist just pulled out my final wisdom tooth, so I'm spitting and drooling blood. Feeling oh-so attractive.

Thanks! I have such rubbish teeth, I need to get used to this. I know there's just going to be more to come as I get older. :(
Awww, poor you, I hope you feel better soon! My biggest fear is having one pulled out. :'( DO NOT WAAANT!

Oh, no, you can't have even more to go through? That's just not fair.

It isn't bad, really. Have had three removed. Eating's a bit difficult the first few days, but as long as you take painkillers as directed you're fine. Don't worry!

AAARGH painkillers. That sounds terrifying...
Hope you're feeling better now! :)

bloody hell, he sounds like an arse! and I thought my dentist was bad... You're right though, if he's going to treat you like everyone else he should stfu! Are you sure the benefits out weigh his arsiness? (I just invented a word ( ... )

Haha! Well, the top one was very painful so it must've been infected, and I'm glad he fixed it... And maybe he just filled the bottom one instead of root-filling/crowning it because it looked like the infection had gone away. He is arsey, but it's kind of like, he's kind of allowed to be? Hahaha. He just doesn't suffer fools and cares about people keeping their teeth, I guess. He is very good though, and when it really matters he's really nice, I get really upset when I go because I'm scared, and he's really nice about it, like, instead of just jabbing you with the needle he's really careful and slow. So yeah, I don't want to change dentist again. :D

Haha that's hilarious!! Maybe your brain is inventing the pain because it wants you to go and see her. :D

so he is genuinely good at his job, just a bit of an arse. I'd probably piss him off too much, then I'd be too scared to go back incase he did something deliberately to me...

oh she's attractive... but it's still the dentist! :op

That's mental. Big hugs babes. You're braver than me, last time I went to dentist they said I went a funny colour then they had to sedate me. That cost extra. :(

Eeep! I think I would be more scared if I was sedated. If I remain focussed and awake at least if it hurts I can run away without too much trouble. :D

They have to sedate me, last time they hooked me up to a heart thing to prove to me it was necessary. My heart rate shot up as soon as I saw the needle or the drill.
They knock me out, when I wake up it's all over.

Thanks hun :D It's not too bad, I just have such rubbish, rubbish teeth. This was my third root canal. Aaargh. So you'd think I'd be used to it! And when it's done I'm always shocked at how easy it was. It's just the anticipation of it that scares the hell out of me...

I really hope you don't have to deal with anything else. Health stuff is always so frustrating.
