I think, within the month or so that's passed (woah, feels like a lifetime) since I dived into this shiny, new and extraordinary fandom, I have already seen all the hackneyed fanworx in the world. Webcomic? Graphic Novel. I was trying to do it in the style of Neil Gaiman. I tthink I failed :LOL: I'm going to print it off so it's in physical form, once it's finished.
7 pages of it are on my deviant art but I typed up most of the story in just word form. No pics.
I'm tempted to post it in LJ but to friends only, which is possible now they've fixed the problem of copy and paste on LJ from Safari.

But yeah, years ago I read a Tom Baker Doctor Who fanfic. It just basically went on from where the series ended with adventures and aliens and planets on the brink of Kaboom. I think I still have it somewhere it was for sale in our local library. There had been a competition to see who could come up with some really great plot twists and storylines. First prize was an autographed photo of Tom Baker and second prize was a really REALLY long scarf lol.
The winning one went on sale in the shops. I think it was only a quid.

you should start writing a fic! im starting to want everyone to write fics now, i always love reading things by people i know. plus the twitter fic was amazing :L

Haha I totally didn't watch it, I was too busy facepalming.
I am writing more now than I used to. I'm always too scared to show anybody though! Haha, the Twitterfic. I got bored of that so quickly, it was rather time consuming!

aww, if you write anything you should definitely post it, it will almost certainly be awesome. haha i know what you mean, writing always takes much longer than it feels like it should

I always said I'd write a novel when I hit my thirties. Haha. I wanted some life experience. And I'm waiting for a massive plot bunny to arrive and whack me in the face.

Yay, I hope so. I just wish I could use it! Stories are like songs for me though - I know I have them in me but they just don't want to get out! Or they come out in stupidly small bits. One chord sequence, or a short scene. Or a tweet. :D
