It isn't one of the sapient members of the household who does this, unfortunately.

It is, instead, the owner of a slobbery, rough, licky dog-tongue. A slobber, rough, licky dog-tongue that seems content to wash every part of her face it can find.

Luckily for her, someone was at least kind enough to set her glasses on a nearby table (Probably Clair, or Isis might've done it out of habit before falling asleep. By that point, she was on autopilot).

Still, this does make her squirm a little and murmur incoheriantly in Skyderian, for a moment as she tries to wave the mighty Nova off.

This probably isn't terribly successful, given she's doing it with her eyes closed.

No, no it is not. There is whuffing and more licking. And NOSE.

About the only good thing is that it isn't Inky, one supposes. Although one might wonder where he is in all this.

Cold dog noses do have their lovely effect, though, on waking sleepy people up. Of course, this sleepy person is Isis, who squeaks at the sudden addition of COLD NOSE on her face (to say nothing of getting sniffed, possibly thoroughly!).

So, there is a little bit of a flail, and getting tangled up in a blanket that wasn't there before, and WHUMP she goes off of the couch with another surprised squeak. A rare thing indeed, for a balance mage to lose her balance in such a way.

She's awake now, Nova! She blinks up at the dog, squinting a little. "..Hello."
