I wonder if you added LJ RSS feeds to an online reader (google.com/reader or newsgator.com ) if you could get around this limitation...

Did you know that at the public library any sites -and I'm not talking about porn- that have the words gay or homosexuality in them are blocked?...of course the last time I was there was a few years ago....but if its still the same then that means that if someone is doing research on anything gay related and they dont have internet access they are screwed...ok that has little to do with your post but I just thought i'd mention it
