Yup, another entry for the recast challenge! This one is a gender bending recast of Alice in Wonderland, so I guess it should be Alex in Wonderland? :P
I would watch this in a heartbeat. Michael Caine would be perfect for the part (although a part of me would like to see him play the red king more because he looks like he can pull off the crazy evilness, but Christian Bale also does broody-angry-psycho guy well).
I really like how you set up these picspams with the architecture and the black and white.
Thank you :D I agree about Michael Caine being a perfect for the Red King (although I think he would be perfect for every role xD). I don't envision the White King as the squeaky clean version of the books, I see him more of a character with a dark secret underneath and I could only think of Sir Michael who could play the good with evil roots character in my head :P
I love it! You know I wish they would actually make movies like this. Everytime someone remakes a movie, and essentially keeps it the same just with different actors, I get annoyed. At least put a twist, and use different genders or something!
I agree 100% I have always wondered why they can't do a gender bending casting. That's why I was excited when Helen Mirren was cast as the lead in a remake of the Tempest (although the movie wasn't her best but it was still a fresh casting).
