MTE with the ME3 ending. I lost my gusto to play ME3 again just because I know how it will end. I stopped my second playthrough right before the mission where you assault TIM's base. Then I went back to playing ME2 for awhile. I agree, I still do love the series very much and I really hope that new DLC sets things right.
I've come across something called the "Indoctrination Theory" which is, apparently, a hugely popular fan-fix-it for explaining the end of ME3. I have to say, it’s not bad. If they were going the IT route, and even if they aren’t (especially then) Bioware should have had more than a terrible cliffhanger of blue, green, red-breath. To rely on a later DLC is, well, kinda cheap. Like management looked at their watched and called “time, pass up your papers” and that was that for the writing/scripting department. It’s like they put an unfinished game on the shelves.
I wonder if EA/Bioware’s laughing like I imagine J. Pollock does for selling paint-splattered art for millions, like I imagine P. Picasso did when taking money for a cubistic painting rather than his more labor intensive realistic ones.
I lost my gustoOh yeah, same here. I didn’t play it with my Shepard (imagine three people taking turns, alternating, start to finish, with the same Shepard… add copious amounts of soft drinks), but did make it to the end to see what
