Hey! How come you guys never told me about "Sanctuary"? I saw a post about the latest episode, and I liked the logo, so I checked it out online. I'm only on episode 5, but I REALLY love it so far! The mysteries, the creatures, the human-ish characters. I'm so hooked. I'm trying to get some writing done, but it's hard to do it when I'm so enthralled

Sanctuary? TELL ME MORE.

Oh, it's SO GOOD! It's about this forensic psychiatrist who has a sort of extrasensory talent for seeing things that other people miss. In the beginning he's a cop, but he gets recruited by this scientist who studies what she calls "abnormals," which are all kinds of non-human or extra-human creatures. She runs an organization called Sanctuary for All -- the generally don't kill any creature, even if it's dangerous, choosing instead to study them and allow them to live in her giant castles (there are a number around the world). Creatures who aren't evil come for sanctuary, and ones that need help are brought there (they have a resident mermaid and Neanderthal, for example. The Neanderthal -- although I think he might be further along the evolutionary chain than that -- is like their butler.) ANYhoo. The scientist is awesome, played by the main lady from Stargate, she's joined by a lippy tech guy, and her daughter. She also has awesome secrets that I will totally not spoil for you. ;)
