You know, I've mentioned a few times lately how much I LOVE the new Star Trek movie -- obviously, or I wouldn't be dipping my foot into the fandom. I've watched my downloaded cam copy a dozen times, and I've loved it more and more each time. I have the release date of the DVD marked on my calendar

I am reading Dragonfly in Amber right now...totally loving it! I heard she has a new book in the series coming out this fall, so I am trying to get the current books read first beforehand. :-)

Oh, sweetie, I hope you have several boxes of Kleenex handy. I've read that book at LEAST a dozen times, and I still end up in hysterics every. Single. Time.

I don't always do a re-read before a new Gabaldon book comes out (you know she's my favorite author, right?), simply because it takes too long. But once it comes out and I've read it, I go back and read them all in a row. :D

I am the worst Trek fan ever because I did not see the newest movie in the theater, but IN MY DEFENSE, I only ever really watched TNG. HOWEVER, I will get it on DVD, and you make me want to see it OMG SO MUCH SOONER!

Well, I wasn't really a bonafide Trek Fan AT ALL while it was in the theaters. Or after. It was when I started reading Gaila fic that I hunted a crap cam copy down and have now watched it EIGHTY BILLION TIMES.

And still, I'm SLATHERING for the DVD, and my greatest Trek wish is for it to come back to the theater. *sigh*

I loved TNG when I was in college -- my long distance boyfriend and I used to sit on the phone and watch it together every week. I used to have the whole series on VHS, but I sold it a while back.

The new movie RULES. Srsly. If you can get hold of a copy, DOOO EEEEET!

Thank you SO much for the offer. I confess, it's weird how nervous I am writing in this fandom! As soon as you could get to it would be fine -- I don't really have to have my kink bingo done until the end of the month, I'm just trying to discipline myself to finish one every couple of days.

Please feel free to be strict -- I'm not sensitive. I appreciate concrit in a fandom I'm just getting into.
