I watched my first episode of Psych on Hulu the other day -- it was really cute! I might have to check more of it out when I have a chance.

Do you see what I mean about loving Merlin if you just stop expecting it to be, like, legitimate Arthurian legend? I adore it. *smishes Merlin*

My torrent for True Blood gets so freaking glutted on Sunday night, it takes FOUR HOURS to download the ep, which is why I don't get to watch it until tomorrow. *sigh*

I love Eric, you know I do, but I'm just too damn old to stay up until three am waiting for him. I mean, I would TOTALLY wait up for HIM, him, but not for the show. *G*

Behold the Icon of Naked Alex. I had to cut out SO MUCH of the scene to make it fit, but... gah.

Just for the record, it starts getting just as ugly as the old days too. Someone mentions there's not enough Spuffy, and then suddenly 20 Spuffies show up and diss B/A (and vice versa). *sigh*

This is why I got into B/A/S really quickly back when I was still reading het.

Smart move! I was pretty much a B/A shipper before anything else -- they were really the reason I got hooked on the show. For a long time in the early days, things were fine... it was later that it all went batshit. *sigh*

Oh man, a Buffy and a Whedon friending meme in one day. I don't think I can take that. Especially not when I'm currently doing a rewatch. That's too much for my nostalgic heart.

It's interesting though how many people can still muster excitement for the show. They just started this gaming com whedonland and people are so into it (they had like 400 members in the first week) and I'm only wondering where they were in the last couple of years XD.

BUT alas you are never save from the shipping tension. There was a getting-to-know-each-other-post, where you were to write about the things you like best on the shows, and of course someone then also added a "hate" section. Made me cringe and roll my eyes upwards. People can just not let it go.won't mention that it was a Spuffy ;D
I'm kinda delighted though to see that there are still B/Aers around. whedonland made me feel lonely in that respect.

It's true. Shipping tension is really ridiculous, and yet it seems to be ubiquitous whenever there's more than one romantic choice for a lead character.

Yeah, the nostalgia is nice, and it does make me happy to see a whole new generation of fans falling for my all time favorite shows. I just hate to see them go down that same destructive past that ate fandom from the inside back in the day.

God, they're all so young over on that friending meme! Though it's nice to see the fandom continues to lure in newbies. Just glancing through one page I think one other person had been a fan since the beginning. Of course, if you're only 17, it's kind of hard to have been watching since you were 5! lolol

I don't know -- I seem to remember hearing that some families with kids watched Buffy together. I'm not sure about FIVE years old, though. Maybe it's just cool to have been watching since before you could walk. Those kids these days. ;)

Re: Paris Jackson → TOTALLY! OMG, she is a beautiful 11 year old girl!

*must do Buffy friending meme!*

ICKY.

It's so funny to see all the young kids over at that meme! I guess it's not surprising that the shipping rivalries start up right away. They did sort of inherit them. :(

I just wish they'd manage the whole thing better than we did back in the day.
