Befuddled Angel is my favorite. I missed him when he got all cool and with it in later seasons. But of course, then they gave me 70's Angel, and that made me happy. He's such a big dork. *smorshes Angel* :D

This brings me back to my recent ruminations, and recent discussions some of the submariners at work had about how weird and behind the times they feel coming back from a deployment - because when they're at sea and underwater they often don't get much news. Especially pop-culture stuff.

Consider all the stuff Angel missed when he just went into the sewers from, what about 1975 to 1996 or so? He missed all of Joe Montana and Wayne Gretky's careers. And how completely confused must have been the first time he saw the "new" Michael Jackson?

Seriously! And what about computers and electronics in general? No wonder he still had a grammophone in the first season of AtS.

And he missed the heyday of disco. I would qualify that as lucky, but... with Angel, who knows?

Of course, he might have caught some things watching TV's through store windows? Though he probably would have been avoiding his lack of reflection.

Wow, I think about this character and universe way too much. LOL
