Happy birthday to my very good friend and fellow writer (and lover of all things dark and creepy), umbra_elf! I hope you have a great day, hon!

I always have a problem with shipper wars because I rarely, if never, come down on the side of one ship 4evah. Bill/Sookie on the show is hot. Hopefully Eric/Sookie will be as well, because I do love them more in the books. But I don't discount Bill/Sookie. Kind of like how I still enjoy Buffy/Angel but am more of a Buffy/Spike fan.

Maybe I'm just old. Maybe shipper wars are for the young, whippersnappers. *g*

Or maybe I just like pretty girls getting it on with hot vampires.

Or hot vampires getting it on with other hot vampires.

Yes, yes! When I was first in fandom, I got sucked in without knowing any better that "one person's opinion" does not = "the correct opinion." And it completely ruined my experiences of the shows.

And okay, I'll confess, they could pair Eric with a cabbage and I would be happy as long as he was badass and naked. *G*

Yes! Bill is a three-dimensional character in the show, where he's always fallen flat for me in the books, you know? And yeah, he and Sookie are SMOKING hot! And I adore all the characters, so I really, really resent people whining and HARSHING MY SQUEE.

So I suggest ORGIES FOR EVERYONE! :D YAY!

He *did* sign some legislation today about extending as many benefits to the LGBT community as he could, with more in congress that someone in Wisconsin is working on...trying to reverse DOMA. That was on Rachel Maddow today, so who knows....maybe he was really clueless as to what others were saying on his behalf.

He must know by now. That brief REALLY needs to be withdrawn and re-written, or at least ACKNOWLEDGED somehow. He doesn't have to repeal DOMA today, but he has got to distance himself from the language in that brief, or I'm going to have to assume he not only knows, but agrees with it.

You really need to. Have you ever tried going to missedashow.com? They sometimes have TV shows up there. But don't tell a lot of people, or it'll get taken down again. *G*

Awww....I LOVE otters!!! Too cute.

So, where can I download Trueblood? Can I still download S1? I've caught up on the books and now want to see it, but don't want to spend the $30 for the DVD set unless I know I'm going to like it.

If you want to try a few episodes, take a look at missedashow.com -- that's where I look if I just want to try something. I believe they had most of season 1, if not all of it, up there.
