LOL. That's what I get for opening my mouth. I'm only thinking about Amtrack trains, which come into Penn Station. Is the lex line a local thing?
Gossip girls is pretty standard teen soap fare. Fluffy, like candy. If I had to make a choice between it and something else at 9 on Wednesdays, it would lose. But it's on my local FOX affiliate at 11, so I dont' mind. ;)
I'm looking forward to Bones as well! And House, actually.
Like Robin said, Grand Central definitely has trains, and not just the subway. The Metro North commuter railroad runs right into Grand Central which serves Connecticut and Southern New York. If Serena was in boarding school in CT, she could very well have taken the New Haven line home to NYC.
I'm not sure what I think of Gossip Girl yet, I'll probably watch a few more episodes and how I feel then.
*points up* What she said. In fact it looked like a fairly accurate shot of Metro-North's New Haven line, down to when it passes through the 125th St Harlem stop on the way to GCT.
I'm rooting for Heather the nerd too. I didn't like Jaslene last season because I thought she was fakey, AND has a serious case of manface/shoulders. I liked the Russian girl way better.
Eee, I downloaded Gossip Girl (our DVR STILL isn't working, argh) and can't wait to watch it tonight. Yay!
YES! The man face! That JAW, dude! Plus, I really have a problem finding women who are THAT bony in any way attractive. I keep expecting to hear her bones rattle together.
I really liked Gossip Girl. I mean, it's pretty typical teen soap fare, but it played better than, say, The O.C. We'll see if it can keep it up!
Oooh yeah, she's WAY too skinny. And her "My Life as a Cover Girl" spot was scary to me for some reason. Why do they keep choosing these models that supposedly do well on camera, yet when it comes time for their weekly spot, they are dead sticks? I don't get it!!
I don't know, but none of them have really done all that well, have they? I mean, beyond whatserface from cycle one who married Peter Brady, and she's only successful because of that.
I can't remember how Jaslene performed last season, but I don't think it was very good. A lot of the girls seem to be runway material, but not good for the campaigns they end up doing!

I liked the bikini wax girl, and the girl Lisa who was a bikini dancer. *G*
Can't answer your questions about Mr. and Miss J though, this is the first time I've ever seen the show.

I don't care that much about the show, I just ADORE Hugh Laurie.
