I have to tell you that this is still only semi-gross compared to what I have gone through (although dead mouse in bed, while a classic, is still all kinds of horrible). All my three cats are merciless hunters.
The worst thing that ever happened to me in connection with that was stepping on a half-eaten and then thrown up mouse with naked feet (I went into the basement in the morning without turning the lights on). Luckily my Mom was there so I could cry for help because I just couldn't bring myself to look at it xD.
