I'm feeling so out of it today. I think the sleep thing... um... lack thereof... is finally starting to take a toll other than a mental one. I've got a sore throat, and I feel so lethargic and sore I can hardly function. Plus I'm feeling sort of depressed and just generally yuck. It's one of those days when I sit down to do something, but I can't

As it turns out, a lot of my friends like the Cavemen! I had no idea!

I don't like Hilary because I don't like a lot of her policies. It's that simple. (Then again, I'm not crazy about anybody running.)

I'm never crazy about the political candidates, because it's the system that's broken, and plugging in new players changes little to nothing. I'm concerned about Obama's lack of experience, but frankly, at this point I think that may be in his favor in my subconscious.
I got really turned off by Hillary when I heard her speak at a reproductive rights rally a few years ago. The kind of wishy-washy, capitulating language she used, like we should have to apologize for being in control of our medical fate, gave me the creeps. I think she would sell women out in a split second for an extra slice of power.
Which brings me back to my whole Internalized Misogyny thing.

[Yes, I can have a really weird sense of humor - ask my brother. On second thought, don't. Wouldn't want to scare you off for life, lol.]

Not for an entire sitcom, though. Best in small doses.

I was honestly curious, because I didn't know anyone IRL that wasn't sick of seeing them, so I wondered how the hell they got a sitcom!
I definitely snickered at them the first few times. Especially the one in the therapist's office.

I shouldn't be surprised that people staying on LJ are being mean to those leaving. *sigh* I'm staying--though I do agree thenyxie's post and the principle may become an issue for me, too--but I wouldn't ever say anything bad about people who are leaving! I started journals elsewhere just in case everyone leaves LJ! I don't wanna lose anyone.
*sigh*
In conclusion: People are stupid.

I'm having a *very* difficult time keeping up with two friends' lists. I honestly don't know how long I can keep it up. But LJ just stepped over lines I'm just not comfortable with, and I don't even want them to have me as a statistic to use in sales pitches, you know?
