Back from Alaska!

Though brief, I had an amazing time in Alaska over the weekend! I flew into Anchorage on Friday morning and met up with Rrruff and Slush; the group of us drove up on Saturday to Fairbanks (largest northern city on earth) up in the Arctic circle.

Next time I would recommend taking a cruise ship up there and staying for a while

I flew Alaskan Airlines for the first time (Fairbanks to Anchorage) .. and wow! I was impressed actually! You've got a really easy way to get there right outside your door :)

I definitely want to head up there some time, preferrably for an extended fly-fishing trip. I'll probably do Chile first though. Glad you guys had a good time!

ps. Temparatures in the 40s should never have a minus sign in front of them.
