in this sunny weather, i have noticed a substantial number of people carrying parasols. i don't even know what to think about this. doesn't a hat do the same job? it's not like the umbrella parasol is making it cooler... anyway.

word? dont let me forget to talk to you about visiting in oregon in october. my aunt is running the portland marathon and i was thinking of going with, even though for me its probably the first week of the quarter... anyway we'll discuss this weekend.
