I'm sorry to hear all of that. You are too kind, but would you rather be nasty and people dislike you ? Being too kind might mean people get uncomfortable but it's who you are, and if they can't accept that than that's their problem. If you wanted her to feel better by burning the CD, did it make you feel good to help ? Idk, go with your feelings and decide from there about how you're going to handle the situation. Just because people aren't gratfeul, doesn't mean you should stoop to their level (though i have no doubt in my mind that you WON'T). I burnt her that CD, just because.. I guess I liked her, I didn't really care that her ex wanted to get his feelings across to her in song, haha.
I think I just need to be a little assertive, if I don't agree/wish to do anything I'm being asked. Instead of saying "yes" all the time.
