Does the napalm treatment work with other weapons as well or would an Exbalibat require a different treatment to become flaming?

Ok, I'll be sure not to make a flaming gun. I think a nialbat would require some sort of fire-proofing so that I wouldn't eventually be left holding a big ashy stick that snapped in half upon hitting a teddy bear though.
