Can I make a nomination for just one category?
Yes.
Can I make multiple nominations for the same category?
Not until the last five days of nominations. Starting 8/23 you can nominate as many entries as you like (but we will only be accepting the first fifteen nominations in each category.)
Can I nominate myself?
If you rock that hard, sure. But why don’t you give it some time and see if someone else nominates you first, so you can get that warm, gooey feeling inside.
What is a "sample title"?
Just list one or two stories that the author is best known for or that you feel are particularly noteworthy.
What's this about an "author link"?
We need a link to where this author archives their work. Maybe it's a FFnet profile or a Twilighted profile. Or maybe it's a personal LJ or author blog.
How do I insert a banner into a comment?
Step One: Find the banner and save it to your computer.
Step Two: Upload the banner to an image hosting site like Photobucket or TinyPic.
Step Three: Insert the following html code into your comment...
Step Four: Replace "image url" with the url of the banner given by your image hosting site
Step Five: Click the "preview" option at the bottom of your comment so that you can make sure the image shows up correctly before posting.
Step Six: If the first five steps fail, just post a link to where a mod can find the banner for herself, and she'll post the image.
Do I have to be a member of theair_thesun in order to nominate?
No. But I swear, once you drink our kool-aid, you’ll be upset you didn’t find us sooner.

REMINDER:
Due to the wonderfully outrageous amount of participation we've had, we will be capping the number of nominations in each category at FIFTEEN. Voting in the first round was kind of strenuous because there were just so many entries to read and so many voters who were dedicated to giving each nominee a fair shake. So, we will be accepting the FIRST FIFTEEN NOMINATIONS for each category.
Each person may only nominate ONE story/author/banner for each category. If you nominate more than one, we'll only take the first one that you list. When there are 5 DAYS LEFT to nominate we'll count up the number of entries in each category, and if at that point in time, there are less than 15 in a category, we'll allow people who have already nominated to nominate more. Times up. You can now nominate more than one entry in each category.
