Word challenge anyone?

Hidy-ho, everyone.

I'm really behind on my writing at the moment and could use some motivation.  So I was wondering if any of the other authors here would be interesting in doing a word challenge in a little bit.

A WC is when a group of fic authors get together (usually on gchat or some other chat service) and each person introduces themselves, says

Okay, so I'm working on one of the final chapters of my story Zenith. It's Jacob/Bella/Edward. New Moon AU.

This chapter is the climactic point of my story, and I'm just really struggling to concentrate on it. I think because I'm worried I'll screw it up.

My chapter word count right now is 3,150.

What are you working on?

I'm working on an untitled fic for a friend. Bella gets sick with the flu. Alice is there with her, who calls jacob. Jake arrives to find bella huddled on the sofa frezzing cold. The plan of the fic is just fluff with jacob and alice keeping bella both cold and warm. I've only written abvout 500 pages of it and then my muse dies on me.

I know it sounds silly but have u tried not to think about the fic for a few hours. Switch off from it.

I love me some J/B fluff. And you're story sounds like it's going to be super romantic and cuddly. :)

Do you mean 500 pages or 500 words? Because I would be super jealous if you had 500 pages written.

Yes, I have tried not thinking about it. But that only result has been me not writing. lol. I really just need to focus and shut off twitter and LJ.

Lol, meant to say 500 words. I wish it was 500 pages, actually no, cause that would be a monster to type out.

I always find the internet a big distraction when writing fic, could u not switch off the internet and than say only put it on once you've written 1000 words. Kinda of like a treat for yourself?

I have the last chapter to the WIP I started last summer. It's horrendously late, but I have no drive to do anything with it. It's 350 words in. YIKES
