SOBBING ALL THE JACOB/BELLA TEARS.

because OF COURSE the truck would break down and jacob wouldn't be around to fix it, and OF COURSE bella was clutching a box of tampons on the bathroom floor, and OF COURSE jacob's not sorry about the wedding being canceled. BECAUSE THEY BELONG TOGETHER.

YAYAYAYAYAY!! So happy you like it. I was super nervous about the fact that I heavily mentioned a wedding, and that was one of your nonos, but if you like it then it is all good times.

Thank-you for being so understanding about the wait.

Oh, thank-you! I hadn't thought I'd do any follow-up pieces, partly because I wanted to leave it open to interpretation, and also (mainly) because I really just don't think I have it in me. I had to push myself to even get this done, so I shutter to think what might happen if I attempted to write anymore J/B right now.

I loved this! So moving, I actually felt sorry for Bella, and Edward was so level-headed. He was right not to change her, and he called right on her feelings for Jacob. He said what she didn't want, or couldn't, admit to. Poor Jake, I wonder if he came home because the wedding was called off, I guess so. I'm glad he's going to be okay. I'm glad they're together.

Thank-you so much! I generally try to avoid writing stuff with Bella and Edward still together because I just can't ever think of a way they would split up that would still be canon to their characters, so I'm relieved to hear that it wasn't completely off.

For all purposes, I'm assuming Jake came home for the same reason he did in that book; to see Bella one last time before she was changed. But when he got home he finds out the wedding was cancelled and that Bella and Edward broke up. Then I like to imagine he'd be equal parts angry that he'd been eating wild animals for weeks for no reason as he avoided the wedding, and shocked that he might actually still have a fighting chance at saving Bella. IDK, it's my personal canon.

A sympathetic post-Eclipse Bella. Alchemy.

I'm not sure if I've ever stated it as clearly and cleanly as I should, but here it is: you are the best in the business. The absolute best. I'd give my left leg to write like you.

Alchemy Good lord I love you for this. And that's indescribably nice of you to say. Really, that means so much to me. Though I think you have it mixed around, because I would give my left leg to write like you, so there you go.

OH MY CREYS.

You actually made me feel sorry for Bella. And not hate Edward. And poor, poor Jake. ALL OF THE FEELS. I love this so much, even though it stomped my heart into a thousand little pieces. You are amazing and I love you! <3

(btw, if you don't write J/B anymore, what fandom(s) do you write for????)

NO CREYS. NO STOMPED HEARTS.

But, thank-you so much! That's so lovely of you to say! (OH MAN. I'll probably never be totally able to give up J/B, but I do spend quite a bit of time in Doctor Who and HP)
