SO! I took my DATs (Dental Admission Test) on Saturday, and I did okay, I guess - but the point is that I'M DONE! (And you guys, the entire world was against me taking this test. I'm FOR SRS).

You know which is a gay-friendly city? VANCOUVER!

UBC has a dental school, you know :)

And I've been to Portland, albeit briefly, and it's full of hippies, so I'm guessing it is gay-friendly as well.

LOL! I'll look into Vancouver, but I'm not sure how feasible that will be in the long run. :) Portland is sounding more and more appealing by the minute.

Chicago is awesome! Safety issues are the same for every big city, but if you're smart about security and personal safety there's no reason to worry. I lived in a good neighborhood and I was never scared of walking alone at night. And the whole North Side is Homo-Central. Lots of clubs, LGBT organizations and businesses, and both "girl-town" and "boy-town" are very safe gay neighborhoods.

But it does get Really. Fucking. Cold. over here ;)
