Friends Only

Now that LJ has finally introduced their mass-edit tool, I've made the journal friends-only. I will probably still forget to post privately on a consistent basis, but I will also likely remember to fix it again. So you may or may not be able to see examples of my BRILLIANT WRITING and PROFOUND INSIGHTS at the present moment (okay, yes, it will ( Read more... )

I like friends!!

My favorite snack lately is Glenny's Soy Crisps. Especially the Cheddar and Apple Cinnamon ones. The apple cinnamon are even shaped like little hearts! they are so delicious. mmmm

I can't remember the last book I read that I felt something passionate about. I have a severe lack of time for fun reading, and "Religion in Contemporary Japan" isn't exactly something that instills passion. The class its for has been very interesting and has brought me many thoughts and questions about my own spirituality and feelings about life.

I've had those Soy Crisps, but the savory (cheesy/salty) flavors rather than the sweet. I remember liking them. I like friends, too. I wish I had more time to come to Pittsburgh and hang out with friends like you!

What's one question that class has made you ponder?

My favorite snack is currently Pirate's Booty, which is like crack in a bag. I blame Laura for giving it to me.

Dude. It's gooooood stuff.

Y'know... that same company makes other stuff. Maybe we should invest in a sampler pack for Saturday.

I am glad to be your friend. =)

And I don't know why, but since middle school, the one book series that really did it for me was A Wrinkle in Time and its first two sequels. Funny stories from my past and gossip are best told in person...but I thought of this tidbit because you asked.

Dude, I love those books. I think they expanded my little kid mind, and I'm not sure that I can name other works that had a similar effect. The 1812 overture, maybe. Sophie's World and Godel, Escher, Bach, got me in similar ways as a young adult.

I think it was all about travelling through a certain kind of space, or the idea that inner space and outer space were connected more thoroughly than I realized.

I'm glad to be your friend, too. Being around you makes me feel very happy.

Okay, because you asked, I will. When shall we hang out? Who's having parties/lunches/midway shifts?

Honestly, I have no idea. KGB didn't do booth this year, so no midway shifts. But I would be surprised is there was no party at Chris/Dave/Tom's. I'm hoping to be there Thursish to maybe Monday? Not sure. I have class and such, but, hey, whatever. My super secret plan was to go to the VNV Nation concert in Cleveland on the 24th, but then I realized the 24 was Tuesday, so that probably won't happen.

Man, I'd love to go to another VNV show. It's a shame about Ohio. I mean, really. It's a shame about the whole state.

Anyway, you have my email, keep me up to date. You can also text me through my userinfo page, or email me and I'll send my number. We will be with the hanging out!

I barely know you, and I don't know if you remember me, but we talked a little bit at the CTFWS party in the fall, and you took a picture of me with your phone and entered my number. Also, your manila book is still my favorite officer report I remember.

Then you shall continue to receive my brilliance! J00 are friended.

Man, I kept my manila book for a long time... but I think it was eventually lost in the one of the Great Cross-Country Moves. I wonder what other junk I still have laying around in various basements in PA.
