i LOVE the diary of anne frank! its like the best nofiction play ever ever! we're going to see this poetry show at bham southern on tuesday for my english class, which i am also very excited about b/c poetry is a passion of mine....anyway, glad youre on good spirits. hasta la byebye hippo! >>alex<<
your french story translated to: i "saw the most beautiful woman on the ground, and it called me by the name! then, my heart started to dance it was very beautiful in my eyes it examined my eyes and I examined his eyes I said oh it," so who was the woman? ....i bet that it was me! lol, just kidding! :)
your french translation was close, however slightly different than the intended meaning. it reads, "i examined HER eyes" (not his since i am the boy and the first person narrator in this little excerpt. most of the story was right except for a few incorrect pronouns, but overall i thought it a noble translation effort. by the way, did you decipher that yourself?
i did most of the translation myself. my french is not great at all! i had to use my french-english dictionary for the words i did not know. that explains the mess ups. and i typed it kinda fast i guess, because i meant to say her eyes not his eyes. oops!
