Contrary to popular belief, best friends make the best relationships. That is if you are in a relationship for the right reasons. The prpose of dating is actively persuing marriage down the road. If you and your significant other are best friends you will have a lasting relationship. My girlfriend is my best friend. I can honestly say that it is the best thing in the world because I know her better than I know anyone and vice versa. We can share anything and there is no issue with it. I love her so much as a friend that I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I hope you reconsider the best friend/relationship issue.
