Was Sherlock Holmes any good?

Were Girl, Interrupted and Briget Jones' Diary (I have a copy of the latter) just as good or better than the movies?

Girl, Interrupted was really good. It only took me a day or two to finish..mostly becuase the chapters were really short and it was easy to just say "Oh, just one more chapter..." which always turned into like, three, lol. I actually haven't seen the movie...you remind me I haven't *adds to blockbuster list* I've only seen a little bit of briget jones' diary, but from what I saw, it was pretty good...remind me I need to see that too. heh.
