[Someone is very not pleased about Takiko being kidnapped, and well since it is unlike him to not do something about such a thing, he's going to go off towards the barrier to see if he can find anything that would lead to her, since that's about the best idea he has

Especially when they should have been able to get there in time to stop it. But don't think about that. Dwelling won't get her back.]
It's more than just her, you realize. [No need for blankets, but food would be good, in case they were out there for a long time. Hikitsu tosses some apples to Uruki, something they don't have to cook, with pretty good aim for a guy with one eye.] Note after note - I barely open the thing and I still know of at least six. [Oh hey, guess who doesn't like the noisy journal? At all.]

I realize it's more than just her. I lost count of how many there were, but it's enough that others are commenting on it.
[He catches the apples, and agrees, food would be good, and stopping by some of the shops would be a good idea to ensure they have a good stock, at least enough to last a week, just in case.]
Takiko is the one we are most likely to be able to find. We know her, we don't know any of the others. If we find any others, of course we'll help them too.

[He honestly has no idea what half the food in the kitchen is, so he's leaving all that alone and just taking things that he either knows or have been pointed out to him as being all right to eat and easy to prepare and throwing the lot in a bag that Uruki produced from... somewhere. No need to bring water with him around - he can find it for them easily enough.]
Can you still feel her?

[He frowned at Hikitsu's next words. He hadn't forgotten about the special bond he and Takiko had, the same one he had shared with Souren, but that no longer existed here. Still, that didn't mean he wouldn't be able to feel her aura, it just wasn't something he could feel unless she was close. He hated remembering that, because it made Souren's sacrifice feel useless. He shook his head in response.]
That was the first thing I noticed when I came here. It must be due to her being from our past. What we had when I left no longer exists, but that doesn't mean I can't still sense her when she is near.

Looking for something?

I'm looking for someone actually.

[Yes, she's been here long enough to figure that one out.]
Would you like a hand? If you give me a description I can probably keep an eye out for whoever it is you're looking for.

[Not a surprise, but Uruki hasn't been here long enough to really be able to trust others with such assistance. Still, the fact that he's being civil when his priestess is in danger is an improvement.]
Your thoughts are appreciated, but it is for Hikitsu and I to find her. That is our duty.
[Truly, it is probably obvious from his expression, whoever it is means a lot to him, more than he's letting on with his words.]
