(Music from here)

Today I learnt a lesson: the bureaucracy half-asses, but shall not withstand if you actually try.

Significant snowfall late last night and early this morning. I spent an hour shoveling - shoveling my very very long driveway - so that I could drive to Springfield, for my hearing to appeal whether I am at-fault for the accident last ( Read more... )

My actual reaction to a composting toilet would be closer to "Interesting - especially if I don't have to clean it."

::giggle::

2 points for knowing my reaction. I was eagerly scrolling down the page for whatever the most cheery pro-humanure option was when I saw my name....

I'm surprised Massa...how ever that's spelled...people from MA are so freaked by snow - don't they regularly get a lot of it? It was cold yesterday and Sam's parents (visiting) were like, "Aren't you cold, Newt?" and I was like, "Wisconsin, peoples, Wisconsin."

(I love the word "like". A lot.)

Hurrah on the RMV. It's always nice when life hands you a win.

You've got me interested in listening to radio online now...maybe I can fulfill my life-long dream of regularly listening to Ira and other such programs. (I've never lived with a fast enough computer.)

And hurrah for humanure. You probably knew this but my family composted our waste for years when we lived in Wisconsin. It was a very unofficial way (a 5 gallon bucket and a large tank), but it worked. (I was just talking to Sam about this and he almost fainted - he's a lightweight when it comes to that sort of stuff.)

Long comment. ::hugs::
