Oh, I loved this SO much. I mean, I know it's fictitious and blah-de-bloo. It feels very real and was a mess of fun to read.

I had a hard time deciding whether to set it in a real place or a fictitious one. I think I like the place I came up with, which I imagine as a cross between 19th century US and UK.

Ooh, that's not even something I thought of! I don't read many biographies, so that's neat to hear. Do you read a lot of biographies? Are there any you would recommend?

I read everything. Hershey's (Found of Hershey Chocolate Empire, Sniper (Auto bio of the best sniper in the world), and Once Upon a Time (Grace Kelly's) are all good. Ben Franklin' was good as was Thomas Jefferson's
