Hehe, sickle fits you better, anyway. ;)

Damn it, I want to be an imaginary number, too.

Well, if you were an irrational number you'd be imaginary :)

hmmm, wait, ARE irrational numbers imaginary? It occurred to me later that the square root of a number would be imaginary. Well, both of you can be imaginary, one of you can be the positive root and the other can be the negative root! There you go :) Negative and odd numbers are inherently feminine, I believe.

Let me get this straight:

Hammer + sickle = communist/Marxist symbol

If Parthena = hammer
and Peter = sickle,

then Parthena + Peter = Commie/Marxist?

I was hoping someone would catch that. Well done!

Mostly, though, I just like sickles. The word, the shape of the tool, its relative ineffectiveness these days. All pretty neat.

Well, I guess the crescent shape is kinda cute. How even more fitting if it were made of silver. Whenever I see the word, I always have an image of a farmer using a sickle to slash his way through a field of overgrown grass. An apt symbol for the proletariat!
