Said goodbye to my work car today.. it was nothing flash.. just a '96 landcruiser but I've been driving it since I started this job.
I would've done about 180,000 km's in it over various bush trips all over the NT.
I mean on teh plus side I'm getting a brand spankign new hilux in a week.. still I'm gonna miss that car..

I know the feeling :( I guess the old work car is like tools too.. I remember when i accidently broke the first tape measure bought i was shattered :s He was like my partner in crime and we did a lot of jobs together :'( Buying anohter one wasnt the same.. Its Uncanny how tradies form bonds with some tools.. theres only a few certain things left in my work box from my original kit i started years back..if they were to dissapear id fly off the handle :P
