Local homies: A question.

Where do you shop for fabric? Going to Jo~Ann Fabrics is officially frightening and uncomfortable for me. One of the employees won't stop telling me about her fursuit hobby whenever I go in. She keeps it brief, but always speaks enthusiastically enough to creep me out ( Read more... )

I always go to JoAnn's. If you want, I'll go with you sometime this week if you need to get more fabric before Otakon. Whenever I go in there, nobody ever asks me any questions or even tries to talk to me lol

I have all the fabric I need for Otakon since I'm only doing Andrew's costume at this point. This woman usually works the cutting table and, yeah, she's very friendly, but we made the mistake of asking her how to attach paw pads to Beeks' hands for his Bartholomew Kuma cosplay. Ay, furries. *facepalm*

I thought I'd mastered the "I am not a conversationalist" look until I started going to JoAnn's regularly. Everyone there is always so chipper and talkative lol

Fall's Church isn't bad. My driving instructor had me go out there a few times, so I probably passed G Street Fabrics. I'll definitely look into it, thanks!
