Fabulous! There isn't nearly enough Yvonne fic, and you did a great job getting inside her head.

Thanks! I was watching Doomsday and I just found myself really zeroing in on her-I'd always liked her as a character because she's not just a moustache-twirler. I was surprised, she's not even listed as a character on Teaspoon-yet Chantho is!

If you ask the Teaspoon mods, they'd probably add her. Teaspoon definitely has other stories with Yvonne in them, so it's not like people don't need the tag.

If there's one strength of your writing I find myself envying on a pretty consistent basis, it's your ability to shift my entire perception of a character through brilliant little pieces like this. Flawless, once again. Wonderful job, hon!

*blushes* I like the secondary characters. I guess they're more fandom-acceptable versions of OCs because you do have to fill in so much of their backstory on your own. I like the exercise of working backwards from what we know they are like now to try to figure out how they got there and what they were like 5, 10, 20 years ago. I'm glad you enjoyed!

This fic has given me a knew appreciation for a character I otherwise disliked. Very interesting and well done.

See, I never disliked her. Sure, she was doing something very foolhardy and was very much a Torchwood "company woman" but she was never evil. But I did always wonder about her; how did she get to that position in the organization? Why was it so important for her to do her duty, in this really anachronistic sort of British Empire kind of way?

Anyway, I'm glad I made you think again about her. :D
