Brilliant.

My two favourite parts? "If someone can't focus on a dangerous situation while simultaneously dealing with your considerable personal issues, they wouldn't last a day traveling with you." This may have just described the New Who qualifications for companionship perfectly.

Also? dis-chuffed? If it's not a word it needs to be.

On a personal level, "dischuffment" is blatantly stolen from Christopher Brookmyer's "Quite Ugly One Morning" but apparently it is a phrase in normal vernacular use in the UK. Or so Google tells me. But I wouldn't have known about its existance were it not for that book (as, er, read by someone you may have heard of?). And I do love it.

The scene of the Doctor referring to the other Doctor as "Him" and looking up made me think it would be funny if they had a conversation like that in front of other people who would think they were talking about God.

You mean The "If you want a higher authority, there isn't one" Doctor? I'd say fairly synonymous, at least from his perspective!
