I always have trouble with polls...I'm not sure why.

haha nah I kind of know why it didn't work. My paid account ran out haha. I should just get a plus account so I could do polls. But I don't know why I won't do it. But I won't.

I checked your account status and found you are a Basic user. Then I went to LJ's FAQ and found the following about creating a poll:

Account Type:
Paid, Plus and Permanent Users: You can create polls in your own journal and any communities (whether Basic or Paid) where you have posting access.
Basic Users: You can only vote in polls, with one exception. If you maintain a Paid or Permanent community, you can post polls in that community.

Basically you cannot create a poll, but you can vote in one.
