We watched "The Sting" last night with some of my son's friends. Introducing the teenagers to the movie is always fun, partly because they seldom see much of the con the first viewing, and they're so gobsmacked when they realize that it was perfectly set up and that they missed a lot

He's so adorably *young*.
Ahh, Johnny. ♥ For some reason, today I've been longing to rewatch the foot chase where Johnny escapes from Snyder. Fast, deft, acrobatic--the way he leaps, the way he runs, like a gazelle. He has that youthful impression of boundless energy barely kept in check under his skin.
Another thing that intrigues me about Johnny is his jewelry. He has a silver ring on the third finger of his right hand, and a little metal disc on a silver chain around his neck. I like to ponder various natures and histories for those things, though I haven't yet actually put anything into a

What I love about The Sting is that you almost always pick up something new everytime you watch it!
I actually heard a theory a while back that Kid Twist quite possibly had homosexual leanings :D Make a story out of that!!
