That is amazing praise indeed. I'm so glad you're enjoying it!

I certainly intend on continuing, life has just been demanding the last few months, and I've also been having mad flirtations with other fandoms. But I am hoping to pick this up again sometime in the next few weeks. I know it's maddening to see something dropped.

I'm glad you've enjoyed it! This past few months has been pretty overwhelming, and I've felt a little less inspired by the third and fourth seasons of Numb3rs, but I still enjoy the dynamic of the early Charlie and Ian. We'll just have to consider it AU!

Eh, I was very sorry to see this series drop off. I just found it, but I have enjoyed it immensely (I'm really not much of a Numb3rs fan, just been casting about for fic and found this). Not going to pressure you to continue something you don't have the passion for anymore, but wanted you to know that people are still tripping over it and enjoying the story. <3

Thank you very much! I admit, the stalling was entirely my fault. I feel bad because I did love this story, but the show went off in a direction I really didn't like and it sapped my desire to write... If I can get the distance to think of it as an "AU", or even just a "S1-2" story, I think it will help!

Perhaps that's why it worked for me so well, because until just lately I never saw anything past the first season. I know the "AU" hump well and it's tough, if you love canon (mind you I destroy canon all the time in my own fanfics...ahem...) but hey, if you think it is even a possibility I'll start watching this space in hopes of more.

One thing I wanted to praise was your portrayal of Charlie not as a twinky man-boy but as a real, adult man with a touch of childishness (in the best sense) to his nature. Lovely!

Anyway, thanks for the stories!

Perhaps you've seen the season 5 opener. Our favourite Agent has returned, and there is much man-handling of Charlie. I usually watch at least two or three episodes in a row, but I cleared my entire night just for this one episode because it captured all the things I loved about Charlie/Ian in season 1 and 2.

Maybe you will feel inspired? Maybe not. Still, kudos on the fic, I have re-read it many times over with great satisfaction, especially since the pairing is so rare!
