I've been up to my eyebrows in an original novel since about mid-August, and it's finally coming together. I hope to be around more now that I'm over the insanity of hoping I could write this novel for NaNoWriMo.
Of course, my muse's reaction to getting the book on track is to start craving to write N3. :rolls eyes.: I'm planning to have the rough draft completed by the end of the year; then I can take a break and write some smut before the rewrite. :)
It's his mindset. Add in the protectiveness, and...
Oh the joy of those three little dots! I can't wait to read more.
Glad you enjoyed it!
It was very exciting to see the culmination of the first section. And of course you've set yourselves up deliciously for part two, which leads to the beautiful, confused Donny we see here. Thank you so much!!
You posted, great!! Don doesn't want to think about sex when it comes to his babybrother (I mean, for the bruise) If he knows who is the real "threat"...

Yeah, I figure Don's mind will go many, many places before he thinks about Charlie and sex (possibly because he's avoiding the idea for self-protection, or even just that he sees that Charlie and Amita are so awkward, or both). If he had any idea who it was, he'd probably hit the roof. This is post-S1, pre-Toxin, so he hasn't seen them interacting affectionately yet; he still sees Ian as a predator.

Oh, Don. *pets* You probably think the NSA is the lesser of the two evils, don't you?
Heh. I don't think he's even thought about the alternatives yet. It will be fun to watch him try to figure it out, no?
