How much do I adore that on-going fic of yours? A LOT, yes. It's not just hot but it's almost unbearably sensual and that's a combination that fills me with glee. I also love the characterisation and love the slow build up. I can't wait to read more. Great job!
Thanks! I'm glad people are still enjoying it... or even remembering it's here! We started this, oh, last November, I think? And it's only the first of at least 3 parts we've got plotted out, what with RL and other bunnies. But whenever I exhaust Jack, Nine, and Rose, I can hop over and play with Ian and Charlie. Best of both worlds, really!
Not at all, not at all! As soon as Ian and Charlie are exhausted, I go back to Jack, Nine, and Rose. Variety is the spice of life. ;-) Although interestingly, both pairs of men have the same colouring. I don't know why that strikes me as odd, but it does! Jack and Nine are even the same height...
hello. i just found this fic last night, and am thoroughly glad you're continuing it. (and that i got here at a point where i didn't have to delay gratification too much. *is bad at that*) i stayed up till the wee hours reading and rereading because it's amazing and hot, and the characterization is excellent. i was looking for some charlie/ian that didn't involve ian being a complete and utter manipulative, soulless bastard one-dimensional jerk, and you totally made him a believable, multi-dimensional person.
and the sex was hot. please, let's not forget the sex.
Welcome! I've just updated the userinfo, which should explain a few things...
I'm so glad you thought the characterization was good. For me, at least, the sex is pointless if the characters aren't in character. I'll admit, I can see the appeal of dark!Edgerton, but he's so much better when he's got more than just meanness to him. One of the most amusing things for us has been that we seem to be developing the characters in ways that anticipate what we see on the screen. When I first wrote the section about Ian giving Charlie his coat, it was before Toxin, and I thought, "Okay, maybe I'm nicening him up too much," but then they gave us a more relaxed Edgerton and a Charlie eager to see him again for no spoken reason.

Yes and yes! I've never been a big fan of PWP, I need emotional depth, too.
I come from newtypeshadow's lj who recommended that story and I'm not disappointed! This story is unbelievably hot and sensual. I love the characterizations of both Charlie and Ian. I can't wait to read the next parts ^^
I'm glad you found us and that you're enjoying it. Welcome!
Very, very slowly, we continue. This is only one part of three we've got planned, it's just getting the time and headspace to do the writing. And I like to wait until I'm really "in the mood" - I think the writing's better for it!
