Agreed...I think it's far too easy for adults to hate on awful teenybopper music; yeah, as far as I am concerned all of that Disney/Justin Beiber crap sucks, but I'm also 33 years old, and have had a good 23 years to listen to a wide variety of genres and artists. (Though for the record, I was a preteen when New Kids on the Block were huge and thought they were awful, so take that for what you will.)
About the only other thing I will add is that if it's possible to bring in millions of dollars from a song that consists of "baby, baby, baby" over and over again, I'd say the vast majority of Americans are in the wrong business.

I think that since music is art and art is subjective then there is no such thing as underrated or overrated. There is only what you personally like and dislike.
