I love the fake "chemical stuff" in the beakers everywhere as well.

We need an experiment to be set out on the counter. And the microscope. OMG, I wonder if John cleaned out any of Sherlock's stuff or if he left it as is?

Oh, good question! I'm really dying to know how much the appartment changed and how much stayed the same. I guess it depends on how long the actual hiatus will last. They don't have to do 3 years, they don't even have to do the exact time we are waiting for S3. It would be funny if Sherlock came back after a month or so in the story. Then it would make sense if the flat remained more or less unchanged. Or John just moved away and the appartment stayed in the same state just like in canon?
