Foots a failing me

Old age has a way of making me fall apart- If its not one ailment, its another. For the past year it has steadily been my big toe. Let me first say that I have adorable little Fred Flintstone feet (meaning my fat little toes go down like stairs rather than any long toes over stretching their neighbors). I am a foot-aphobe. YOW! I had heard those shots are painful, but not how painful. :( I'm so sorry your toe is betraying you.

The biting comment is funny. :) When I was 14, I bit a nurse who was trying to give me a shot. The details have gotten fuzzy with the passing years, but I have a needle phobia, and I just remember I was freaking out and I chomped her somehow. No broken skin, but she was not amused. I told her I was phobic, and she just told me to suck it up. People who don't have a phobia don't understand at all.

I fear shots normally myself but I was trying to be a bigger person for once. This just confirms that Shots ARE something to be feared. Its too bad that nurse didn't have to get a shot for your bite- lol! Thanks for sharing the story with me. Made me smile.
