Excellent! I know it's one of those drags of an assignment, what with having to watch the episodes, and see our lads so often, as well as the other agents, but... well, if you're able to slog through it as well, then that's two of us... *vbg*

Isn't it funny how we love the eps, but having an excuse to watch them makes us more likely to watch them too...? Hurrah for excuses! *g*

Lo these many years ago someone who has long since left made a convincing case that Murphy was also 2.9

At this point I have no substantiating evidence - perhaps it was something like Doyle's mysterious episode of being 3.6?

That sounded vaguely familiar, and so I did a quick google search, and found a thread where we'd talked about it before!... oh, and then I had a look in ProsLit, and found several claims for Murphy being 2.9 in an episode before he settled down as 6.9, but none of them backed up with the specific episode. Glanced through a couple of novelisation chapters with Murphy, but couldn't find it...

Maybe someone will come across Murphy-as-2.9 whilst looking out for agents!

Never thought about Murphy and Sally being up to something themselves with the number - hmmn, maybe you get to share one if you're married, and we missed a whole CI5 romance going on... *g*
