More trailer stuff

So really, I'd be pretty happy with something like this:

About the only changes I'd make is that I'd have the small front and back walls non-folding and just have their outside edges slide in along the inside face of the outer wall when the whole thing folded up. Our house is just over 2000sqft - and there's absolutely no way you could create any more bedrooms in it. Four is your max in 2000sqft - unless you like your bedrooms reeeeeeally squishy and only able to take a single bed. Or no living space at all :/

Much of it depends on the layout and the amenities, though. Four bedrooms would fit on the top floor of this setup - but along with the staircase(s), would take up the _entire_ top floor and have nothing in the way of storage or closets. Bathrooms and whatnot would all be on the lower floor, and be more like a standard caravan - shower doors opening right onto the main walkway, etc.

The kitchen would be almost exactly eight feet wide and built like an "=" shape - the rear bench and floor-to-ceiling appliance wall would be shoved up against the front one when travelling. Larger than most caravan kitchens, but still far smaller than fixed house kitchens. And of course nearly all storage for everything in the entire place - cupboards, shelves, bookcases, spare stuff - would crunch down into an eight-foot cube. A large pantry, sure, but not when it has to store all of the household goods, including the non-bed, non-bench furniture ( ... )
