Meeting grind

As I thought, today's meeting accomplished nothing useful. In fact, it accomplished less than nothing, as it not only took up my time, but it was used to book me for another two meetings in coming weeks purely to cover stuff which has already been covered extensively.

Have I mentioned how much I hate pointless meetings?

I hope that eventually I'll be able to hire someone to do all the client-side stuff like this. Networking, pressing the flesh, attending meetings and presentations, and generally being charismatic and a people person.

There are people who love doing precisely this sort of thing, and it'd be a win-win for both of us, as it drives me squirrelly.
